📖 Saint Francis Yearbook Recognized as Top National Yearbook — The 2025 Poverello yearbook from Saint Francis High School was chosen for Varsity Yearbook’s Portfolio, showcasing standout yearbooks nationally. It was also honored in the Anthology section, being one of just 62 schools recognized from over 900 submissions.
🎤 Student TEDx Talk Selected as Editor’s Pick — Shaurya Gulani '26's TEDx talk titled "Why college applications work (even if you think they won't)" was selected as an Editor’s Pick following his presentation at Saint Francis last spring. The talk emphasizes college applications as a journey of self-reflection and growth.
🎓 Ten Lancers Achieve National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist Status — On September 23, 10 seniors from Saint Francis High School were named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, including students Diya Anne, Ryan Chiang, and Neel Ghosh. Additionally, 52 seniors received Commended Student recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Program, highlighting the school's academic excellence.
🏫 Saint Francis High School Announces New Leadership Appointments — Saint Francis High School has appointed Antoinette “Toni” West as Dean of Students, Rob Griffin as Associate Dean, and Stephanie Palmeri Farías as Director of School Culture and Belonging for the 2026-27 school year. These leadership roles aim to enhance the school's commitment to safety, belonging, accountability, and restorative practices.
